DonLot

Full-stack platform automating ticket sales, draws and cash operations for lottery agencies.

The problem

Dominican lottery agencies (bancas) ran ticket issuance, draw results and cash reconciliation by hand, which made errors common and money hard to trace.

How I built it

  1. 01Ticket engine supporting quiniela, palé and tripleta bets, with per-draw betting limits enforced at the data layer and printable PDF receipts with audit metadata.
  2. 02Cash register module with role-based cashier sessions, open/close cycles, a real-time running balance across sales, payouts, voids and commissions, and PDF transaction reports.
  3. 03Draw and results dashboard covering Nacional, Leidsa, Real and La Primera, with date and lottery filters and prize breakdowns.
  4. 04Weekly sales analytics: ticket volume, revenue, winner count, void rate and ticket-status distribution.

Outcome

  • Bets are validated automatically against official draw results.
  • Exportable cash reports cut reconciliation errors and give operators full financial traceability.
