IoT Monitoring Dashboard

From a Raspberry Pi sensor to a live cloud dashboard with alerting.

The problem

Hardware telemetry is only useful if someone can see it in time. The goal was a complete pipeline from device to dashboard, with the system itself monitored too.

How I built it

  1. 01Built the ingestion path from a Raspberry Pi to a cloud IoT platform for real-time processing and storage.
  2. 02Wrote a FastAPI backend with REST endpoints and a JavaScript dashboard for live monitoring and alerts.
  3. 03Instrumented the stack with Prometheus and Grafana to track system health and catch incidents early.

Outcome

  • End-to-end pipeline covering ingestion, processing, storage and visualization.
  • Health metrics and dashboards for proactive incident detection.
